City of Wyoming - Water Transmission Main No. 3

• Van Buren Street from Butternut to 160^thAvenue is closed, from 160^th to 152^nd Avenue is closed, and from 152^nd to 144^th is closed.
• Pavement was removed on the north side of Van Buren between 152^nd and 144^th. Preparations for pipe laying will continue next week.
• Pipe laying continued between 160^th and 152^nd. Pipe work inside the pipe continues.
• Next week, K&R will continue pipe laying through Quail Meadow Court and continuing east. They will also fall back to complete some outstanding work between Butternut and 160^th.

• Van Buren Street from US-31 to 120^thAvenue is closed.
• Pipe deliveries for work east of US-31 will be complete be the end of next week.
• Pipe laying continues between 128^th and 120^th Pipe work inside the pipe continues.

• New Holland Street from 104^thAvenue to 96^th Avenue is closed.
• City of Wyoming completed an inspection of its existing 54″ transmission main either side of the project area.
• This week, Ric-Man began making connections from the New Holland Street pipe to the easement piping previously installed. Connections will include installation of precast vaults, valving, and piping. This work will continue next week.

K&R will be closing Van Buren Street between 144th and 152nd starting today to begin preparations for pipe laying. Traffic will be detoured around the closure area via Port Sheldon Street. See detour route here.

Work will include pavement removal, staging of pipe along the road, dewatering, and some utility relocation. K&R has coordinated with the Post Office to set up a temporary mailbox bank at the NE corner of the 152nd Avenue and Van Buren Street intersection. A letter from K&R was mailed last week in advance of the closure providing more information.

• Van Buren Street from 152^nd to 144^th Avenue will be closed this week to begin preparations for pipe laying. The Contractor recently sent out a letter describing the anticipated work activities.
• K&R is approaching Buck Fever Drive with pipeline installation. They should cross the drive first thing this week and continue progressing east from 160^th.

• Van Buren Street from US-31 to 120^th Avenue is closed.
• K&R continued laying pipe east of 128^th Avenue. Next week, they will continue to lay pipe. Pipe laying is approximately 1,000’ east of 128^th Avenue.

• New Holland Street from 104^th Avenue to 96^th Avenue is closed.
• Ric-Man completed initial pipe installation in New Holland Street last week. See attached photo of the last piece of existing pipe removed.
• This week, Ric-Man will begin making connections from the New Holland Street pipe to the easement piping previously installed. Connections will include installation of precast vaults, valving, and piping.

• K&R crossed Martini Ln with pipeline this week.
• K&R continues to lay pipe in Van Buren progressing east from 160^th. They are approximately 600′ west of Buck Fever Drive.

• Van Buren Street from US-31 to 120^th Avenue is closed.
• K&R continued laying pipe east of 128^th Avenue. Next week, they will continue to lay pipe.
• K&R has pipe staged to nearly 104^th Avenue and will continue staging pipe along the remainder of the route.

• New Holland Street from 104^th Avenue to 96^th Avenue is closed.
• Ric-Man continued pipe installation in New Holland Street. They will complete initial pipe installation in New Holland Street next week.
• Next week, Ric-Man will begin making connections from the New Holland Street pipe to the easement piping previously installed. Connections will include installation of precast vaults, valving, and piping.

• K&R crossed 128^th Avenue with pipeline this week and is restoring the intersection.
• Approximately 3,800′ of pipe has been installed on this project.
• Next week, K&R will continue to lay pipe in Van Buren progressing east. A small section of pipe just east of 128^th Avenue will be skipped until additional materials arrive. This section of pipe will be installed later.

• New Holland Street from 104^th Avenue to 96^th Avenue is closed.
• Ric-Man continued pipe installation in New Holland Street. Approximately 900′ of pipe in New Holland Street remains to be installed.

• Van Buren Street from Butternut to 160^th Avenue is closed and from 160^th to 152^nd Avenue is closed.
• After many weather delays, K&R began laying pipe again this week east of 160^th Avenue progressing from west to east.

• Van Buren Street from US-31 to 128^th Avenue is closed.
• K&R has had a couple weeks of pipe laying production. They are approximately halfway between 132^nd Avenue and 128^th Avenue with pipe laying.

• New Holland Street from 104^th Avenue to 96^th Avenue is closed.
• Ric-Man has approximately half of the transmission main removal and replacement in New Holland Street complete. Ric-Man will be installed valve vaults next week.
• Work in New Holland Street has been much slower than anticipated and is likely to continue into early Spring.

• This week, K&R performed joint work within the pipeline. Next week, K&R will start dewatering between 160^th and 152^nd Avenue in preparation for pipe laying the week of 1/19, otherwise there will not a lot of activity on-site.

• Last week, K&R installed blowoff piping near the Munn Drain. Pipe laying will continue this week and reach the west side of the 160^th Avenue intersection.
• Van Buren Street from US-31 to 128^th Avenue is closed.
• K&R continued pipe laying last week, progressing west to east. Pipe laying will continue this week east of 132^nd Avenue.
• The contractor will be shutting down the Van Buren jobsites over the holidays. Prior to the showdown, the jobsite will be cleaned up for local traffic. Snow plowing will continue through the holidays.

• Van Buren Street from 104^th Avenue to 96^th Avenue is closed.
• Ric-Man installed two valve vaults in Van Buren Street. Van Buren Street will be restored and opened to traffic this week.
• New Holland Street from 104^th Avenue to 96^th Avenue is closed.
• City of Wyoming isolated and drained the existing Transmission Main in New Holland Street.
• Ric-Man will cut into the Transmission Main in New Holland Street and begin pipe replacement.
